When will I receive my order?

We typically send out all orders in 2 business days. Depending on your location, you should receive the order in 5-10 business days for Europe, 7-14 business days for North America, and around 15-25 business days anywhere else. If this time has passed and your order has yet to arrive, please get in touch with us at info@amatamoments.com. Include your order number for faster problem-solving.

Do I have to pay customs taxes?

Orders headed to the US and EU won't be hit with customs tax. However, for some countries (like the UK, Canada, and Switzerland), there might be extra charges such as customs duties, VAT, or other taxes upon delivery. We don't have any say in these fees, and we can't control them. That means we're not responsible for customs fees, taxes, or duties that pop up during delivery to these countries. If any charges do appear, they'll be the recipient's responsibility.

How do I need to take care of the furniture?

High-pressure impregnation protects for a long time. But, you must regularly check the condition of your furniture. If you notice water no longer beads on the wood, it may be time to reapply a water-based preservative. This keeps up its protective barrier.

Depending on your climate, you may need to adjust your maintenance routine seasonally. For example, in cold places, you can store your furniture indoors during the winter. I'm seeing resin on the furniture. Is this normal?

Wood resin is a natural attribute that can occur naturally during the production process. It adds a unique touch if authenticity to the wood and enhances its beauty. While resin may exhibit twisting or bending tendencies, it remains structurally solid and durable overall.

What product do you recommend for protecting the furniture?

We recommend using a water-based preservative to maintain your furniture's protective barrier. Also, use eco-linseed oil to polish your furniture regularly.

I need a replacement part. Can I purchase spare parts separately?

What is the warranty on your furniture products?

AMATA offers a 5-year product warranty for pressure-treated items. It protects against rot or insect damage under everyday use. Additionally, there's a 24-month warranty on the structure. It accounts for the traits of wood and resin but excludes some conditions. Read out full warranty info here.

Is your furniture environmentally friendly or sustainably sourced?

We only use local Nordic wood from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) forests. Annually, we offset our total emissions by an average rate of 7.7 times. This is equivalent to removing the impact of 108 million km driven in a car.

To reach our goal of annually being CO2-negative, we replant forests all over our country. It's important to replenish our forests, and it's become a tradition for our team. So far, we've been able to replenish over XXX acres of forests in Northern Europe.

What type of wood is used in your furniture?

We use pine and spruce from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified local forests.

Where is your furniture manufactured?

Our furniture is manufactured in a beautiful small Northern European town – Ieriķi, in Latvia, one of the three Baltic states known for our extraordinary craftsmanship skills and luscious forests.
